Disc Writeup - Wildcat Elite |

More Than 400 Feet |
| Into Moderate Wind |
At slower speeds, moderate wind will have almost no effect on the Elite Wildcat. |
Thrown harder, the Elite Wildcat will hold its angle ok, but not as well as an overstable disc. |
Throwing really hard into wind is not this disc's best use. |
| Into Heavy Wind |
Wrong disc unless you are trying for a sharp right turn. |
The X2 or another overstable disc is better here. |

| Glide |
The Elite Wildcat has some decent glide but it is better showcased at higher speeds. |
When thrown at this speed, the Elite Wildcat will glide well. |
Same as throwing the previous distance, good glide. |
| Left Turns |
The Elite Wildcat will turn left fairly hard on shorter throws. |
This disc will fight back hard when it runs out of speed, but a disc that is built to turn left all the time will work better. Perhaps the Elite Predator, X2, or Reaper. |
This disc will fight back left when it runs out of speed, but like the previous category, there are much better choices here. |
| Right Turns |
Very hard to keep it going right at slower speeds. |
Not the disc for this shot. |
Once this disc gets going these speeds it becomes understable and quite predictable. I think this will be one of its primary uses for top pros and big arms. |
| Rollers |
Not good for most rollers except for those where you want the disc to cut to the left at the end. |
Not really the disc for this shot either. |
It will work well here but the Xpress and Stratus are so much better for this shot that I would stick with them here. |
| Skip Shots |
Tends to skip forward and left rather than up and left. Great if that's what you want. |
It's hard to get the angle right for this shot. |

| Straight Throws |
Not the disc to use. |
Still not the disc to use. |
It will turn up (when thrown at the right angle), stay straight for a while when thrown this hard, but not for long. |
| Upside Down Throws |
The Elite Wildcat has a fast turn when thrown upside down which will work fine once you learn how it flies. One problem with it will be that it is harder to get a lot of distance because of the fast initial turn. |
It would be hard to throw really far upside down for the same reason. |

| Putting |
Not good at all for putting. |
| Approaching |
The only approach to consider using the Elite Wildcat for is a sharp left turn. |
| Distance |
This won't be the disc to set any world distance records because of the fast turn at the end. However, as a golf disc it will fly very, very far. It is so fast that it will cut the wind and still have a decent enough glide to go a ways. |
| Best Beginner Use |
The Elite Wildcat is a good left-turn driver on most holes. It is best to stick with this for these shots only. |
| Best Intermediate Use |
It is a great long distance driver for players that fall into this range. |
| Best Pro Use |
Long throws that require a right turn are a great use for this disc. |
| Final Comments |
The Elite Wildcat is one of our first steps towards a predictable, low profile, super fast driver. It is not a great all-around disc, but is very good for certain shots. Use it for what it is made for and leave it in your bag those other times. Because it is so fast it begs to be thrown all the time, just pick and choose when to use it and it'll be a great addition to your bag. |
