Disc Writeup - Wasp Pro D |

| Into Moderate Wind |
Light wind will have almost no effect on the Pro-D Wasp. |
It's hard to get any approach disc to fly this far into a moderate wind. However, if you have the arm to do it, then you'll be happy how well it holds its line for an approach disc. |

| Into Heavy Wind |
It's a pretty good approach disc in a heavy wind but still not as good as a driver would be. |
N/A I've just decided not to include approach discs for this distance in these conditions. Even if you have the arm, it's best to throw a driver here. |

| Glide |
The Pro-D Wasp has decent glide, but because of its tendency to turn slightly left, it won't glide as much as an Elite MRV or Pro-D/Elite Hawk. |
Again, not bad, but not as good as the Elite MRV for glide. This is a good characteristic though because it will "drop in" to the target and not carry too far. A great choice if this is what you're seeking. |

| Left Turns |
The Pro-D Wasp is the best disc I've ever thrown for slight to moderate left turn shots. This is a must-have disc for this shot. |
At higher speeds it will not turn left as hard as an MRX, but is still a great choice for slight left turns ... not because it turns that way much, but rather because if you start it with this angle it will hold its line and then tail left at the end. |
N/A |
| Right Turns |
It will turn right if you start it off that way, but there are better choices like the Elite MRV. |
Same as before. I almost want to give it just one D here because the MRV is perfect for this shot if you have the arm. |

| Rollers |
Not the disc of choice here. |
Not the disc for this shot. |

| Skip Shots |
I'm not a fan of approach discs for skip shots except for the MRX. |

| Straight Throws |
It will tail off a little at the end but will hold its line perfectly through most of the flight. This is an awesome disc for this shot. |
At this speed the Pro-D Wasp will fly straight until the end of its flight. It's the best disc for this shot. |

| Upside Down Throws |
 What, are you nuts? |

| Putting |
It's not the worst choice for a putter, but since there are so many good putters out there, I wouldn't recommend using the Pro-D Wasp for this shot. |
| Approaching |
Perfect disc for this shot. Just keep an MRV in your bag for those slight, right turn approaches. Other than that, this is the disc for approach shots. |
| Distance |
 Not a distance disc. |
| Best Beginner Use |
The Pro-D Wasp is a perfect slight left turn approach disc. For brand new players the MRV will fly a little straighter but either will work. |
| Best Intermediate Use |
For almost any shot you can reach without putting everything you got on it, except for those slight right turn shots I keep mentioning. |
| Best Pro Use |
Same as above. If you can reach the hole with it, use it. |
| Final Comments |
By this coming spring, EVERY Discraft Team member will have one or more of these in their bags. This is the disc so many players have been waiting for. Unless something really strange happens, I will always have this disc in my bag. I'm not sure what else to say other than this is a "must-have" disc! |
